PBS39's Education Outreach serves to bring northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio educational experiences at home, in the classroom and around the community. In partnership with local schools, libraries, after-school programs and community-based organizations, we engage families in life-long learning experiences. From daily programming to special events, webinars and development training, it is our mission to enhance and empower individuals and our collective community.

PBS39 Video Field Trips | Enjoy off-campus experiences at home or in the classroom with our award-winning collection of locally-produced video field trips. Emphasizing early learning in math, science, consumer economics, health/safety, and financial education, these educational videos supplement teaching and engage learning.
PBS39 Summer Reading Challenge | Join PBS39 for 12 weeks of special on-air programming, events, and online resources that encourage learning and exploring over summer vacation. Get weekly activities, specials, free e-books, and PBS KIDS episode downloads all summer long.
PBS39 KIDS Media Lab | As part of the Ready to Learn Initiative, PBS39 and Eckhart Public Library of Auburn have come together to create a exclusive learning get-away for children to stregthen literacy, math, and science skills through fun and engaging multi-media platforms. With characters from their favorite books and shows kids can experience the fun of learning with worksheets, online videos and games, parent-led activities, mobile apps, and more.
PBS KIDS Go Writers Contest | For grades kindergarten through third, PBS39 host annual local and national contest that empowers kids to use their voice and build their literacy skills by writing and illustrating their very own stories.
