Calling all Kids Kindergarten through Third Grade!

Welcome to the 2018 PBS39 KIDS Writers Contest. The program has two phases: Local and Regional. During the Local phase, students write, illustrate, and submit their own stories for judging at one of the Local Entry Points (listed below). All students in K-3 are eligible to participate.

The top stories from each location move on to the PBS39 Regional level! After the Regional results are announced in May, the contest officially concludes with a ceremony for the winners and their families.

How to participate:

Download the PBS KIDS Writers Contest Individual Contest Entry Form for 2018 by clicking here.  Then, contact one of the Local Entry Points below to check for entry deadline. In April, submit your story for local judging!

A number of schools are also participating, including Cornerstone Christian School, South Adams Elementary School, and South Wayne Elementary School. If your child attends one of the schools listed, contact the teacher or principal for details.
