All are welcome to join us at First Christian Church, 4800 S. Calhoun in Fort Wayne on a JOURNEY to EASTER. There will be 3 opportunities to prepare for your journey starting Ash Wednesday March 1st: “What Happened Thursday Night with Jesus” is a Wednesday Bible Study starting March 1 from 11 am-noon. (Bring a brown bag lunch if you wish.) Soup & Sustenance will be a free Wednesday soup supper and Bible Study starting March 1 from 6-7 pm. And a Saturday small group study, Life Journey will start Saturday March 4 from 9-10 am. For more information call 744-3239.

Each month we'll bring artists and friends together to draw, sketch, doodle, and design. We’ll bring the pencils and paper, just bring your imagination! Tobias Studios will be facilitating this edition of Drawn Together. This is a free event open to anyone - artists and non-artists alike!

All brass students are welcome to join us for a remarkable day filled with clinics and workshops with members of the IPFW brass faculty, members of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and one of the greatest brass pedagogues today, Northwestern University’s Professor of Horn Gail Williams. Williams also has served as the former hornist for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The evening concludes with a brass performance in Auer Hall. Fort Wayne Youtheatre presents: "Dr. Seuss on the Loose!" 

Join PBS39 for a special day of Youtheatre shows celebrating the famed author and illustrator. On March 2, three FREE performances will be offered at the Main Branch of the Allen County Public Library. Make sure to stop by the PBS39 for Dr. Seuss goodies before each show! Performances begin at 9:30am, 4:30pm, and 7:00pm.

The storyline takes us to Diffendoofer School. There, we meet some of the most interesting characters - Daisy Head Mayzie, Gerald McBoing McBoing, and our old pal Horton! Enjoy Dr. Seuss favorites and learn a little bit about the beloved Theodore Geisel.

The Allen County Chapter 187 of AARP will hold its monthly free educational presentation on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Foundation, 555 East Wayne Street, Fort Wayne (corner of Wayne and Monroe.)  Stephanie Walker, Regional Manager and Divisional Consultant for Heartland Home Health and Hospice, will present on her agency's work of improving the quality of health care systems, especially for the terminally ill. Stephanie enthuses that it is "How Do You Want to Live?" that guides her service to those facing end-of-life challenges and opportunities.  She will address questions from the participants.  The public is invited.
